1. Working Principle:
During the rubber mixing process, the open mill primarily relies on two counter-rotating rollers to exert extrusion and shearing forces on the rubber compound. Through multiple cycles of kneading and the accompanying chemical reactions during the process, the large molecular chains inside the rubber are broken down, allowing the various components in the formulation to be uniformly blended, thereby achieving the purpose of rubber mixing. The rubber sheet discharged from the gap between the rollers adheres to one roller due to differences in surface speed and temperature between the two rollers, and then re-enters the gap between them. This cycle repeats multiple times to complete the mixing process. During plasticization, it facilitates the shortening of rubber molecular chains and the reduction of elasticity. During mixing, it promotes continuous renewal of the surfaces of the compound's components, ensuring uniform blending.
2. Mechanical Main Body:
2-1 Base: Welded from B-type channel steel and processed with CNC high-precision machining.
2-2 Roller Frame: Made of solid steel, easy to install, and with high load-bearing capacity.
3. Rollers and Bearings:
3-1 Roller Material: Rollers are made of high-quality carbon steel, treated with nitriding, and surface-hard chrome plated, providing strong load-bearing capacity and long service life.
3-2 Roller Structure: Hollow smooth rollers with a hardness (Hs) of 58-65. The inner cavity of the rollers is precision-machined to ensure rapid and uniform cooling of the roller body.

4-2. Gear Reducer: Uses Linamar four-ring or three-ring hard-tooth surface reducers, with helical hard-tooth grinding surfaces. Saves over 1/4 more energy compared to general brand reducers. Each gear undergoes heat treatment and surface grinding to reduce friction loss during operation, handling the same load in different directions, which traditional gearboxes cannot achieve. The gearbox is equipped with a cooling circulation system, low noise, high transmission power, capable of withstanding higher loads, and features an overall leak-proof safety design.
4-3. Ratio Gearbox: Made of high-chromium manganese special steel, precision-machined with imported high-precision equipment from West Germany, ensuring high accuracy, excellent assembly quality, resistance to wear and breakage, optimal transmission efficiency, low noise, low failure rate, and energy savings.
4-4. Power Coupling: The main motor, reducer, and gearbox adopt a horizontal direct-drive transmission. The coupling uses a lotus-type coupling to protect the safety of the rollers and motor. The single-shaft output method ensures high torque, and imported bearings reduce friction, ensuring energy savings, low noise, and uniform, parallel, and controllable rubber thickness.
5. Safety System:
5-1 Safety Design: Ergonomically designed multi-directional braking system. In case of emergencies, it allows for easy and timely activation based on natural human reactions. Knee-operated safety switches, either infrared or mechanical, can be selected according to customer operating habits.
5-2 Safety Switches: The machine is equipped with 360-degree, dead-angle-free safety paddle switches in multiple directions. In case of emergencies, touching the device from any direction will immediately activate the safety state.
5-3 Safety Protection: The machine is fully enclosed to prevent contact with all transmission parts and hazardous areas during normal operation, enhancing safety awareness. The roller area uses a new mechanical principle with an arc-shaped safety cover. When operating, the protective cover is lowered to enhance operator safety.
